British actress Millie Bobby Brown has been named one of the world’s 100 most influential people – at the age of 14.
The Stranger Things star has made it into this year’s Time magazine’s top 100, which also includes Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
She is the youngest person ever to be included in the annual list of the world’s most influential people.
Also featuring on the list are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The creator of the #MeToo movement, Tarana Burke, makes the list, alongside actresses Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman.
Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul, who wrote an appreciation for Brown in the magazine, said he had met the actress when she was 12: “Her spirit and mind were timeless.
“A wise woman was speaking from her cherubic face … Maybe that’s why she’s such an extraordinary actor.
“She somehow understands the human experience as if she has lived it for a thousand years.”
Brown was born in Andalusia in Spain but moved with her family to Bournemouth, Dorset when she was four years old.
She made her acting debut as a guest star in the ABC fantasy series Once Upon A Time In Wonderland.
In 2016 she played Eleven in the sci-fi drama Stranger Things, where her performance received critical acclaim and scooped her a number of awards.
In January she was chosen to star in and produce the film adaptation of the Enola Holmes Mysteries book.
In 2017 the actress used her massive following on social media to launch an anti-bullying campaign by tweeting encouragement to fans after they shared their stories.
Rapper Cardi B, singers Rihanna, Kesha and Shawn Mendes, Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson and London Mayor Sadiq Khan also make the line-up for the 2018 list.
Time’s list began publishing in 1999 to recognise people who have changed the world.
